The platform is live (9 months) and has already seen enormous traction in the industry, with more than 1,500 registered and approved B2B users and over 20,000 hours of content garnered from almost every country in the world, and transactions happening on platform already.

Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, you will be focused on the success of the marketplace by being the human face and voice.
As a Marketplace, we make a commission when buyers and sellers of Films and TV Shows successfully complete a rights transaction. Your role is to support our users as they transition from doing business manually and offline, to doing their transactions online.
This a very hands on, communicator’s role, where you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing programs to build community amongst our users
- Identify and engage active users of the platform
- Engage buyers when they make enquiries and offers through the platform
- Engage sellers who receive enquiries and offers through the platform
- Understand the needs of both sides and support the transaction process
- Follow up upon completion to gather feedback
- Bring leanings from these interactions back to
- Support & Direct Content Acquisition
- Provide user feedback into Platform Design
You will need to be a people person.
A Communicator: You are a natural communicator, comfortable on the phone, speaking to Film Studios, Production Houses, Broadcasters and OTTs around the world.
A Problem Solver: You will be able to identify if there are roadblocks between a buyer and a seller, and be able to navigate a solution so they can close the deal. You pride yourself on driving decisions and owning a commercial outcome for all parties involved.
Be Industry Aware: You will need a keen interest in the Industry, keeping up to date with the changes happening in the industry, and spot opportunities for our users and Vuulr.
A Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence is natural to you. You will quickly become a trusted adviser to users on the platform
Personality, aptitude and attitude are far more important than certificates and qualifications.
We’ll be looking to see that you have interest and/or proven aptitude in
- The Film & TV Content Industry
- Building engaged communities
*This is NOT a sales role. You won’t be cold calling or trying to close deals. You will be speaking to people who have already registered and engaged on the platform & helping them to close their deals. BUT, you will need to have many of the characteristics of a good consultative sales person. You will be measured on the percentage of offers that are made on the platform that successfully close.
The current Vuulr team includes experienced international founders and a young, hungry team who love the prospect of working with a digitally native, global business, in the fast growing and very dynamic Entertainment Content Industry.

We work out of the IMDA’s Pixel Media accelerator facility at One North, in the heart of Mediaopolis, just over the road from Disney’s Sandcrawler office (you can see our office here).
