June was an eventful month for Vuulr as we begin our full force pitch to the Film & TV market, armed with our Marketplace beta and bag full of industry endorsements that has impressed buyers and sellers in Shanghai International TV & Film Festival (SIFF), NABShow Shanghai (NAB) and ConnecTech Asia Summit.
Shanghai International TV & Film Festival

SIFF runs between 11–25 June, and is one of the most glamourous and prestigious market and award event in Asia. Vuulr was invited as Market Guest as it is held in conjuncture with the NAB Show Shanghai, where we were invited as a speaker. SIFF is where the who’s who are present, packing our 5-days in Shanghai with back-to-back meetings. Apart from some of the top Chinese content producers, we were elated to have also spent time with the Spain Film Commission, Netherlands Film Commission, Thai Film Commission, Japanese, Vietnamese, Israeli and Korean content producers.
We are very happy to say responses have been most positive and we are now in the process of detailing the talks with each potential partner.

ConnecTech Asia Summit
The ConnecTech Asia Summit is held together with the prolific CommunicAsia, Broadcast Asia and the NXTAsia. As described on their website, ConnecTechAsia covers the entire spectrum of communication, broadcast, and enterprise technology and services reflecting the pulse of Asia today.
Our CEO Ian McKee moderated a panel on 27 June, chatting with technologists across different fields on the potential of Blockchain in Communications and Media and also presented at a breakout session on the 28th on “How Blockchain will Transform the Film & TV Content Industry”. The presentation attracted a buzz of discussions about Blockchain after our session ended as Ian shares the Vuulr vision in more detail in these offline conversations.

As we move into July, exchange listing information for VUU tokens will be announced this week and hopefully together with a cluster of news on other development in the pipeline! With the close of our ICO, we are now re-budgeting and re-strategising the path ahead, also actively fostering more strategic partnerships.
